So... I'm Always saying how lucky I am to be in a good Parish....

And now I have photos to prove it!  My Parish's website now has photos of our Corpus Christi procession AND the interior of the church

(The fresco on the ceiling has lulled many a Mundy-baby to sleep.)

When we go back to Indiana, it was interesting to see how much better the babies behaved, when they had a huge stained-glass window to gaze at

(I like how the parish website's search bar says "St Anthony help me find")

Jeannette -- What a gorgeous church! And they seem to have a lot of life in their parish, too!

It's a shame most DC suburban parishes were built when 'ugly' was in! Sometimes I wonder-- does an ugly church contribute to a 'dead' parish? I mean, if a church looks like a conference room, why would you WANT to spend extra time hanging around there?

Another of my favorite churches is St. Peter's in the Loop --http://www.stpetersloop.org/service_sched.shtml

Constant confessions, and the white decor and silence is such a beautiful respite from the hustle and bustle of downtown Chicago. Very peaceful.
